These are pictures of my final model for the project. It is a section view of the living room and stair case section of the first floor. The shape of the second floor children's bedroom is shown with a thin piece of paper to help give an idea of how the space would look from below.

This project gave students the opportunity to design an apartment space around a design concept or designer. My design concept came from the horsesoe arches in La Mezquita in Cordoba, Spain. The rounded pattern is repeated throughout the space. Flow throw the space is inspired by the flow of the matador’s cape.
